feminist organization based on
the principles of equality,
empowerment and respect for the
dignity of women as human beings
via Board of Directors,
Executive Director, six working
groups and fourteen outreach
teams across the country.
The Board of Directors ensures
that the activities of the
organization are in line with
its mandate. The Executive
Director oversees the day to day
management of the organization.
There is a management team made
up of Senior Programme Officers
and the coordinator of
Administration and Finance.
Decisions are taken in
consultation with every member
of staff.
BAOBAB for Women’s human rights
is a multi-cultural environment.
Members of staff represent all
the geo-political zones in
Nigeria and there are few
expatriates. They come from
diverse backgrounds with varied
professional experience.
BAOBAB works with
scores of unpaid volunteers in
fourteen states across Nigeria.
